Returns the current price list as structured JSON: the USD value of one credit, every skill with its credit cost and REST route, the one-time credit packs, and every subscription plan with its monthly and yearly price, included API credits per month, and watchlist limits. Free and unauthenticated, so an integrator can render live costs to their own users, or an agent can compare subscribing against buying packs, without hardcoding prices or holding an API key. Billable calls also return X-Credits-Charged and X-Credits-Balance response headers, so a reseller can attribute spend per call.
A free, unauthenticated endpoint that returns the Viral Outliers price list as structured JSON: the USD value of a credit, every skill and its credit cost, the top-up packs, and the monthly plan allowances. It exists so applications that build on the API can show their own users an accurate, always-current cost without hardcoding numbers that could drift when prices change.
Connect the Viral Outliers MCP server once and the get_pricing tool becomes available to your agent alongside all other skills:
claude mcp add --transport http viral-outliers https://viraloutliers.com/api/mcp \
--header "Authorization: Bearer so_live_YOUR_KEY"In Claude.ai or ChatGPT, add a custom connector pointing at https://viraloutliers.com/api/mcp. Your agent then calls get_pricing on its own whenever the task needs it.
usdPerCredit (the dollar value of one credit), a skills array where each entry has the skill key, title, REST method and path, and its credit cost; a packs array of the one-time credit packs (credits and price in USD); a plans array with each subscription plan's monthly and yearly price, included API credits per month (granted on every paid invoice, 12 months at once on yearly billing, none during the free trial), its watchlist and followed-profile limits (null means unlimited) and the 30-day API spend that earns the same workspace without subscribing; a subscriptions block with the trial length and the subscribe URL; and keylessCheckout, the permanent payment link that sells the starter pack and issues an API key without an account (null when not configured). Everything is derived from the same configuration that bills the API, so the numbers here always match what you are actually charged.
Call it once at startup (or cache it briefly) to build a pricing table in your own UI, to estimate the cost of a batch before running it, or to show a reseller's customers what each action costs. Pair it with the X-Credits-Charged and X-Credits-Balance headers returned on every billable call: the pricing endpoint tells you the rate card up front, and the headers tell you exactly what each call actually cost and how much balance is left, which together are enough to attribute spend per end-customer.
This skill is free and never spends credits.
Call GET /api/v1/pricing (or the get_pricing MCP tool). It is free and needs no API key, and returns per-skill credit costs, the credit packs and the USD-per-credit rate as JSON.
Each plan includes a monthly API credit allowance on top of web app access; GET /api/v1/pricing lists every plan with its price, included credits per month and workspace limits. Credits are granted when an invoice is paid (yearly billing grants twelve months at once, free trials grant none), and one-time packs can be bought on top.
Every billable response returns X-Credits-Charged and X-Credits-Balance headers. Log the charged amount against the customer that triggered the call, and use get_pricing to convert credits to dollars for billing.
Also available as a REST API endpoint.
