Viral Outliers uses the Pinterest API to let you connect your Pinterest account and publish infographics that you create in our app. This section describes how we access, use, store, and share data obtained from Pinterest.

We do not use Pinterest data for advertising, analytics, profiling, model training, or any purpose other than the ones listed above.
Pinterest credentials and profile metadata are stored in our Supabase database with encryption at rest. Access tokens are never exposed to the browser; all Pinterest API calls are made from our server.
We do not sell, trade, rent, redistribute, or otherwise share Pinterest content or Pinterest-derived data with any third party. Pinterest data is used only within Viral Outliers to provide the features described above.
You can disconnect your Pinterest account at any time from the Connected Accounts tab in Settings. When you disconnect:
Pins you have already published remain on Pinterest. The infographic images you generated and the in-app records of pins you created remain in your Viral Outliers account because they are your own content; you can delete them individually from the dashboard at any time.
You can also revoke Viral Outliers's access from your Pinterest connected apps settings.
Viral Outliers offers an API and connectors for AI agents. If you create an API key in Settings, we store only a hashed version of the key, so we cannot read the key back after it has been created. We log API usage, including which endpoints are called, the credits spent, and timestamps. This information is used for billing, enforcing rate limits, and preventing abuse.
Payments for API credit packs are processed by Stripe, our payment processor. We do not store your full card details; Stripe handles payment information under its own Privacy Policy, available at https://stripe.com/privacy.
Data returned through the API is publicly available content published on third-party social media platforms (such as TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube), which we collect and analyse for trend analysis. We do not use the API to collect private or non-public personal information from those platforms.
