Viral Outliers ranks posts by outlier score, not by what is trending: a post's views divided by that account's own average. A reel with 80,000 views is ordinary on an account that averages 100,000 and a breakout on one that averages 4,000. A trending list shows you the first kind. An outlier score shows you the second, and that is the one worth studying: it worked without a big audience behind it.
